It's never easy to put into words what someone's life meant to you, and to summarize their life in just a few minutes can be near impossible. Phil was a great supporter of our campaign and had volunteered to be our Santa should we ever need a replacement. The Astbury's have been proud members of the Toy Mountain Family right from the get go. Phil's wife Louise is the lady responsible for the incredible gingerbread houses we have had year after year. It should be noted that they were never made from kits, but from scratch. Phil's presence will always be felt at our events. To exemplify that fact, they have donated a giant Panda bear that will always watch over us. We have affectionately named him Astbury P. Bear.

Clay came to life from a worn pair of pajamas. One morning, Anna was playing with her dog when she grabbed her sleeve and it tore. The pjs were old so she ripped the sleeve off and wrapped it around a ball and they continued to play. They were having a great time. As Anna threw it around, it started to come to life. She grabbed the sewing box and on went the legs and feet. Then the ears and tail. She then grabbed an old pair of jeans and voila! Eyes and a nose. She spent the next few weeks placing it in various locations around the house and CLAY was born. Anna's neighbour's two year old little girl loved Clay right away and she realized then, that she needed to get Clay into a story and share it with everyone.

Sometimes it's easier to let others tell the story. Here is one customer's review of The Comic Warehouse. I've been shopping here for years. Mark and Andrew are wonderful gents. A fantastic store with a massive selection of goods, This is the "store of stores" as far as comic shops go. And if you like board games, this is especially the place to go. I've never seen a bigger selection of board games under one roof. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and their prices are competitive.
'Nuff Said!'

Another great review by another satisfied customer. I have been shopping with these guys since I started collecting comics as a kid. Their store's name and location has changed over the years, but the service has always been great. They always have the comics I want and of course the related merchandise. Having two locations are a plus, and their employees have always been kind and very helpful to me throughout the years. It is nice to see a store that appreciates their customers and actually knows something about comics!
Excelsior!'

Costco is a commercial giant, with 572 Costco locations in the world, most of them in the United States. Goods are sold for 71 billion dollars per year; with over one billion profit. This is a very difficult task when the profit margin at Costco is 14-15% for most products (while other stores charge a premium of 25-50%), and they don't advertise much, getting the cost savings of about 2% per year. Costco also has requirements for contractors. In the ranking of the 500 largest U.S. companies by revenue, Costo has long been housed in the first top 30, overtaking Sears and AT&T, and retail trade is the 3rd from the top company in the U.S., the ninth in the Membership card at Costco has 55 million registered customers. The network is known as the first in America that was able in less than six years to increase sales from zero to well over 3 billion dollars!

When we mentioned this online, others followed suit and that was the beginning of what has become our very successful pre-show dropbox campaign.

As Mike is an avid learner and has always worked hard, his love of photography began early. He enjoys taking pictures of absolutely everything, and loves to have his work scrutinized. Why? Because it's the best part of his day when clients look at their portraits and tell him how they never expected photos to turn out so beautiful. Mike's work is his chance to show everyone how beautiful they are, as is the world around them. To create memories which families will treasure forever and to meet interesting people and let their best characters shine through their portraits is only an added passion for the art of photography. Mike has a proclivity toward pop culture influences, those both old fangled and fashionable. From photographing nature in all it's radiant splendor to weddings, Mike is just as easily at home photographing a family picnic as he is a band of rock musicians. Not one to shy away from big production commercial work, Mike's pictures have sold at places such as The Dundas Valley School Of Art.
